  • Can I get an exact price over the phone?
One of the biggest misconceptions with carpet cleaning is that you should be able to get an exact quote over the phone. I wish this was true, but it isn't. First, honest, reputable carpet cleaning companies usually price cleaning by the square foot, this way a company can include all the steps necessary in their price to thoroughly clean your carpet without extra charges being added on after the company arrives.

If you would like me to tell you an exact cost of cleaning your carpet, I need to know the exact number of square feet that you want cleaned. You'll be glad to know that the carpet area to be cleaned is not nearly as great as most people think. For example, if you want your entire home cleaned and your home is 2000 sq. ft., the amount of carpeting might be only 800 sq. ft. to 1200 sq. ft. This is because most home measurements are outdoor measurements. Plus I make deductions for furniture you don't want moved such as wall units, beds and other unmovable pieces of furniture.

Other factors we take into account include the type of carpeting. Certain types are just harder to clean. The amount of soiling is important. Carpeting that hasn't been cleaned for five years will take longer than carpeting that was cleaned just six months ago. Finally, how much furniture do want moved? If we move the furniture, the price will include that labor.

Why do you recommend cleaning our carpet every 6 months?
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE read the info found under FOR YOU HEALTH. Most people will call us when they notice that their carpet is beginning to look soiled. That's a very good reason. After all, you've made a tremendous investment in your home and you want it to look its very best.

Unfortunately the dirt in your carpet has lot's company. Bacteria, dust mites and germs also call your carpet "home". Regular cleaning removes all of these unwanted "guests". Cleaning every six months improves the quality of living for your family and makes your home a healthy environment, especially for allergy sufferers.

And if you become a regular client , we've made it easy for you to have this done. Please see our ½ Price Healthy Home Program to learn how you can participate.

How soon can I walk on the carpet?
Your carpets will be slightly damp to the touch when we leave and will be completely dry in about 2 to 3 hours, depending on humidity and air circulation in your home. Using a fan can decrease drying time below 3 hours; and leaving your house closed up will extend drying time.

Try to keep pets, children, and heavy traffic off the carpet during the drying process. However, if you must walk on the damp carpet, please use the protective booties that we can provide. Wait 24 hours before removing Styrofoam blocks or protective tabs that our technicians have placed under the furniture to protect the carpet.

I've heard that carpeting re-soils more quickly after it has been cleaned?
This is true if hire the "cheap guys". They're cheap because they have to save time and money. So they have to use the cheapest cleaning solutions and the cheapest equipment. Most won't provide the proper training for their technicians. And most do not even realize that soft water aids in the removal detergent residues.

If detergent is left in the carpet, accelerated re-soiling will occur. We use the most thorough method of cleaning that rinses after the pre-spray process. This method removes deep down soil and leaves no detergent to accelerate the re-soiling process.

Why is a your system better than a rental or home-unit? Personal extractors are good for emergency large-scale spot removal. However, none of them can replace the deep cleaning of our allergy-clean system.

    Do you move furniture?
For liability reasons, items we cannot move: China cabinets, full bookcases, entertainment and electronic systems of any size, pianos, sofa beds, or other extremely heavy belongings.

The Perfect Care Package includes moving most furniture. Beds, dressers, and night stands can also moved under this pricing structure. We ask that all fragile or breakable items be removed from any furnishings you want us to move prior to our arrival.

The Ultimate Protection Package includes moving up to 8 pieces of furniture. Again, we ask that all fragile or breakable items be removed from any furnishings you want us to move prior to our arrival.

    What about reoccurring spots?
If a spot returns, it usually happens within a few days after the cleaning. It may have been oily or sticky and was not completely removed, or "wicked back" due to the nature of the spot, or possibly it's not a spot, but a permanent stain. If you experience this, simply call us within 30 days of your cleaning and we will return as soon as possible to re-clean any spots.

My carpet has yellow or discolored spots from my animals. Can you correct that?
If you have spots or small areas that have been discolored from urine or vomit, we carry a special solution that may remove it, depending on the type of carpet fiber.
